Citizens Advice West Berkshire is looking for an enthusiastic Advice Session Supervisor to join our team. You may already be a Supervisor but we will also consider applications from candidates with advice experience (advising on issues such as housing, debt, employment) who have a demonstrable ability to complete our training route and gain the knowledge to become a Supervisor.
Our general service is predominantly staffed by our incredible volunteers, giving advice face-to-face, on the telephone and by email. The advice we give is regularly audited as high quality and we want to continue to embrace new ideas and practices to ensure the service we provide to our clients is consistently excellent.
As an Advice Session Supervisor, you will:
- supervise advisers to ensure a high level of accuracy to the advice given
- be passionate about giving an effective service to people in need
- have excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and manage people. You will complement this with strong IT skills.
- be able to work under pressure in a busy environment
We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role. Therefore, if you are interested, please submit your application as early as possible.
